United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) helps the UN and its partners provide peace and security, humanitarian, and development solutions. Its mission is to help people build better lives and countries to achieve peace and sustainable development.
UNOPS is focused on implementation, committed to UN values, and achieving private sector efficiency. It is the only part of the UN that does not receive core funding from tax payers.
Its services cover infrastructure, project management, procurement, financial management, and human resources. In addition, UNOPS’ partners call on the organization to supplement their own capacities, improve speed, reduce risks, boost cost-effectiveness, and increase quality.
